Epigenar Homocysteine Control
Homocysteine is a byproduct produced during the breakdown of methionine in the body. Elevated levels are associated with an increased risk of cardiovascular disease, Alzheimer’s disease, stroke, and venous thrombosis1. This formula contains vitamins B6, B12, and folate in the form 5-MTHFR, which may help to lower homocysteine levels2. Betaine HCl is included to increase gastric acidity and stimulate intrinsic factor which is needed for Vitamin B12 absorption.
